Entrance formalities of Mali:

La carte d'identité en règle ou le passeport en cours de validité suffit pour les ressortissants des pays suivants : Algérie, Bénin, Cameroun, Côte-d'Ivoire, Andorre, Principauté de Monaco, Tchad, Gambie, Burkina Faso, Maroc. Mauritanie, Niger, Sénégal, Togo, Tunisie

Vaccination and health: Please inform yourself about the necessary vaccinations. Vaccination against Yellow fever is mandatory. Insect repellants are indicated, also a malaria prevention.

General information about Mali: The Office of Tourism of Mali offers a wide range of information.

Registration fees: An amount equivalent to 50 € will be asked as registration fees. The registration fees will cover partially the organisation costs of the workshop like coffee breaks, lunch buffet with drinks, meeting rooms, translation support and conference material. They need to be paid in cash (FCFA, € or US$) while registering for the conference in Bamako (Monday morning) at Hotel Mandé.

Workshop language: The presentations are in English. Nevertheless, a translation support will be available during the discussions.

Wifi- and Internet Access: The Hotel Mandé offers WiFi- and Internetaccess with local computers. Tickets are available at the hotel reception desk and are at the charge of the participants. 1 hour = 2.500 FCFA (3,81 Euro), 30 min = 1.500 FCFA (2,29 Euro).

Lunch breaks: At lunch time, a buffet will be offered by the workshop.

Cocktail party: On Thursday evening, 1 March 2007, a cocktail party will be organized offering the participants ae evening with traditional music and dances.

Tourist taxes: Participants staying in a hotel need to pay the tourist taxes, 500 FCFA per night.
