Additional information on the conference

Pre-registration fee: 240 €. Online registration form filled in before 31st of October and payment received on the bank account of the University of Karlsruhe before 16 th of November 2007.

On-Site registration fee: 260 €. Online registration form filled in before 31st of October 2007 and on-site payment during the conference. On-site payment with an on-site rate will be possible at the registration desk which is located at the ground floor of the FTU (Center for Advanced Technological and Environmental Training) .

Attention: Cheques will not be accepted for on-site payment! On-site payment will only be possible in EURO!

Late registration: 40 € in addition to regular registration fees. Online registration form filled in after 31 st of October will incur a late fee of 40 €. The standard registration fees apply ONLY to delegates who register by 31 st of October, and payment is subsequently received by 16 th of November.

Lunch breaks: The lunch breaks are included into the registration fees, they will be taken in the FZK cafeteria.

Sponsors of the meeting: The meeting will be sponsored by all AMMA projects and their funding organisations. Supplementary sponsoring will be available from DFG, ESF, FZK, IRD and University of Karlsruhe.

Financial support

African researchers: Limited funding will be available to support the participation of the African scientific community at this conference. Since Wednesday 26 September 2007, application is closed. Applicants will be contacted directly in the near future. Please address any additional request by mail.

Travel grants for European young researchers: A limited number of travel grants are available from the European Science Foundation (ESF) prinicpally aimed at European young researchers, to support their active participation (Deadline for applications: Sunday 30 September 2007, 12:00 (CET).
